The Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare is happy to welcome Act.Global Sweden AB to our network. The Swedish clean-tech company has solutions to create a low-bacteria environment in healthcare facilities. We let them introduce themselves below:

"According to SKL (Sveriges Kommuner och Landsting) there was 65.000 health related infections (HRI) during 2016 and among them 1500 deaths, in the Swedish healthcare system! The costs for additional nursing time du to HRI (VRI in Swedish) is calculated to be 6.5 billion SEK annually!
Welcome to a new and much more sustainable way of maintaining a high hygienic level at hospitals and other healthcare facilities. The ACT Solution contains of ACT Clean Coat®, ACT Protection and ACT ECA System. These work together and separately with documented substantial savings, both in terms of cleaning efforts, and in the use of harsh detergents – but most importantly, faster patient recovery time and a significant drop in Healthcare Associated Infections. The ACT Solution is a long lasting, 12 months and more, and self-disinfectant method. By making most surfaces and staff an active player in the elimination of bacteria, virus, mould and other infectious sources we reach new levels of hygiene."
